We drove on to the neighboring village of Belur to look at another temple from the same period. This one was perhaps a slightly less intricate, but much-much better preserved. It's hard to convey the beauty of these temples through pictures, just like with the Taj Mahal, they have to be seen in person to appreciate the detail work.
